The alba form of the normal clusters of bright rose purple flowers. From Costa Rica, it is a bifoliate Cattleya that will develop into huge specimens. A well drained shallow pot or basket and media is essential for Cattleya skinneri1. After the pseudobulbs mature, the buds can be held in the dry flower sheath for some time, so the plants should be rested and kept drier until after flowering and the appearance of the new growths.
