An African Angraecoid, epiphytic. A small pot or basket, or a slab of treefern if available, is needed, with carefull watering as these are intolerent of over wet conditions. The fringed flowers are born on a spike like a ribbon of lace, cream yellow, very fragrant. Intermediate grower. Tridactyl bicaudata is a most unusual species in flower and well worth growing, just for the fragrance.
