A species from Africa that is best grown like a deciduous Dendrobium in a small pot or basket. It is an inhabitant of tree hollows, so a rich media is required, but should not be allowed to become soggy. Maximum sunlight is needed, much the same as Dendrobiums, and with a definite dry rest in winter. It is an adaptable species, growing under cool to warm conditions, especially if the dormant period is observed.
