Broughtonia sanguinea produces a long arching to erect spike of crimson flowers, lip veined dark vivid rose purple. A small growing pseudobulbous plant, it will do well in a small well drained pot or on a treefern slab with extra water.
A prolific grower, it will clump quickly to form a specimen and should be well watered and fertilised when in active growth. Maximum sunlight short of leaf burn.
