A somewhat creeping, dwarf bifoliate species from Brazil. The ideal growing media is a slab of treefern if available. If not, a small shallow basket with a well drained media is suitable. Cattleya aclandeae is more of a shade grower, warm to intermediate growing. Well grown plants will develop several forward leads with many flowers. Keep somewhat drier in winter.
