A spectacular species from the philippines. This species, also known as Dendrobium sanderae var surigaenense, does best in a small pot or basket with a well drained media. It will also grow on a mount with extra water. In the cooler months, the plants need to be somewhat drier, but in the growing season, lots of water and fertiliser will develop a large showy specimen. The plants are intolerant of wet feet. A bright sunny spot and good air movement are required.
