A similar plant to Dendrobium tetragonum var giganteum but with flowers that are usually pale green edged brown and with a full white labellum. A native of the higher mountain areas, in shady rainforest. This species requires a slightly cooler climate, with a media that will stay damp but not wet. A treefern slab with adequete water or a small pot or basket and a drier rest when plants are not in active growth will produce clusters of green and white flowers each up to about 10 cm long.
