A deciduous plant with above ground or partly buried bulbs and large showy flowers to 4cm, rose pink lip. Terrestrial, requires a humus rich media, good drainage and a dry rest once the leaves have fallen. An intermediate grower, Eulophia quartiniana does well in a large shallow container with lots of water and fertiliser when the new growths start. African, very similar to and possibly the same as Eulophia guiniense.
