A Sumatran species also found in Northern Australia. A dweller of the edges of lowland rainforest edged creeks, where it grows in the rich soil and leafmould. Like most Habenarias, this species needs a rich terretsrial media, lots of water when growing, and a dry rest when leaves die back.
