A robust Madagascan species. This should be planted into a good size basket in a media that will stay damp but not wet. Grow with the Dendrobiums, use lots of water and fertiliser in the warm months, and the plant will form a large clump. Once established, the plant should be disturbed as little as possible, and seems to produce maximum flowering once it has formed into a clump. Intermediate to warm grower, it is very adaptable in the orchid house.
