The well known yellow species from Brazil. The rupicolus species produces tall spikes of sparkling yellow flowers, each to 5 cm or so across. Like it Laelia flava is best grown in a small pot in a well drained media, with maximum sunlight. Water and fertiliser when in active growth, and somewhat drier when not growing in the cooler months.
