A large robust growing species that will need a large pot to accommodate its robust root system. Closely related to Paphiopedilum philippinense and roebellinii, it tends to develop into massive clumps. Best grown in as much sunlight as dendrobiums ( with them in fact), liberal water and fertiliser will promote multi growths. Paph laevigatum comes from the Philippines.
