A warm growing Australian species, similar to Phalaenopsis amabilis. This comes from a rainforest habitat that has a wet season and a dry season. When in growth, during the warmer wet months of the year, water and fertiliser is beneficial.
A basket or slotted pot, an open well drained media or a treefern slab with extra water is suitable.
Phalaenopsis rosenstromii should be kept on the dry side in cooler weather.
