One of Australia's Blue Sun Orchids. This is a terrestrial of the drier edges of the rainforest, where the seasonal rains prompt the dormat tuber into new growth which matures and flowers end of the winter, in time to release seed for the next wet season. Usually found where sunlight is more abundant and water seeps during the growing season. Has been seen growing in the rock crevices on rocky, sandy outcrops in a creek bed. A terrestrial media, large pot, dry winter, and lots of water at the start of the growing season, which is mid summer with the seasonal rains. Thelymitra pauciflora is a cool to intermediate grower, maximum sunlight. Click here Sun Orchids
