A warm growing strap leaf Vanda from the Philippines. A basket with an open well drained media is the ideal container. In the warmer months, Vandas appreciate plenty of water and fertiliser.
In the cooler months, less water should be applied, and sunlight requirements are as much as possible short of leaf burn. Vanda merrillii is richly coloured, glossy and the flowers are very fragrant.
