A species of the lowland teetree flats along the far north east coast of Australia. Short plump pseudobulbs topped with up to 5 fleshy, canaliculate (channelled) leaves, bear a number of spikes, with a multitude of fragrant flowers Dendrobium canaliculatum is locally called the teetree orchid after its prefered host.
