A delicate but hardy Jewel Orchid from China with exquisite, dark green leaves veined silver and gold which glisten in the sunlight. Anoectochilus plant rosette about 6 cm across, the central spike is erect with 6 or so unusual flowers.
Anoectochilus formosanus flowers are not large, but the white labellum is quite prominent and toothed and a group of 3 or 4 plants together in flower makes an attractive different addition to a collection.
