Bulbophyllum makoyanum 'Cartwheel'

This small growing species flowers with a 10cm umbel, like the spokes of a wheel, yellow marked red. Startling species, a variant of Bulbophyllum makoyanum, a very warm grower and needs a large basket or shallow tray to spread out. Keep a little on the dry side in winter, and protect from cold. A Philippino species, it grows much the same as the other forms of makoyanum. Section Cirrhopetalum.
