A labiate Cattleya with large flowers to 13cm, rose lilac, lip crimsom purple, disc orange. Cattleya percivalliana needs a well drained media, pot or basket and good air movement. The labiate Cattleyas are best repotted near the end of their rest period, just before the new growths appear, to take advantage of the flush of new roots. After flowering a drier rest followed by ample water and fertiliser as the new growths appear.
