A species from Thailand with robust almost square club like pseudobulbs. This species rests in winter and flowers in spring. Plants should be grown in a pot or basket, in a rich media that will drain well. Sunlight short of leaf burn, lots of water and fertiliser when in active growth and the plant will develop into a spectacular specimen. Flowers are deliciously fragrant, crystaline in texture and produced in abundance. This differs from the Indian form in the pure white, yellow labellum flowers and a less robust plant.
