A fan like plant from Central America. This grows best in a small pot or basket in a moist media that will drain well. An intermediate grower, it requires shade to protect the somewhat soft foliage. The flowers are waxy, frangrant, long lived and to about 8 cm across. In the cooler month, Pescatoria lehmanii should be kept a little on the dryer side, buy not allowed to dry out completely.
