Similar to Paphiopedilum godfroyeae, this mottled leaf species is often refer to as a variety of that species.
Paphiopedilum leucochilum is quite variable in colour, from white with the redpurple spotting, to yellow. Plants need the extra shade for the mottled foliage Paphs.
