Cattleya iricolor is a plant from Ecuador and Peru. Its flowers are to 7cm across, yellow, pale cream yellow, lip veined, blotched purple. While the plant has the appearance of a labiate cattleya, the flowers are more like the bifoliate type. After flowering, it requires a definite rest, and should be grown in a well drained pot and media.
